How a Custom Cabinetry Project Works
Custom work goes smoothly when you know what to expect. Here’s how a project moves from first conversation to finished room.
- 01
Consult
It starts with your inquiry. We meet to talk through the space, how you use it, and what you have in mind.
- 02
Ballpark quote
Before anyone commits time or money, we give you a ballpark figure for the project, often at our first meeting and no later than the day after. It’s a quick way to see whether the scope and budget line up.
- 03
Design & estimate
If the ballpark works for you, we move to a full estimate. This is a paid step: we measure the space, model your project in 3D, and prepare a detailed estimate covering scope, materials, and schedule.
The fee is credited toward your project when you move forward with us. And the designs and estimate are yours to keep, whether you build with us or take them elsewhere.
- 04
Build
Once you approve the estimate, your project is made to order in our shop. We keep you updated as it comes together.
Painted finishes are sprayed in-house in our commercial spray booth, similar to the paint your car gets.
- 05
Install
We deliver and install the work ourselves, fitting every piece to the room and finishing the details on site.
- 06
Walkthrough
We go over the finished project with you and make sure everything is as it should be before we call it done.
Design & drawings only?
You receive final drawings in the format you need (PDF, SketchUp, or DWG), with no build or install.
