Common questions
Where do you work?
Fromke Millwork & Cabinetry is based in Lexington, Kentucky, and serves homes and businesses across Central Kentucky.
Is everything custom?
Yes. Every project is designed for its space and built to order in our shop. We don’t work from stock sizes or a catalog.
Do you install what you build?
Yes. We deliver and install every project we build ourselves. The only exception is design-only work, where you receive drawings without a build.
How does pricing work?
We start with a ballpark figure, often at our first meeting and no later than the day after. If it works for you, a paid design and estimate follows. The fee is credited toward your project, and the designs and estimate are yours to keep.
Do you do painted finishes?
Yes. Painted finishes are sprayed in-house in our commercial spray booth, similar to the paint your car gets.
Do you work with builders, architects, and designers?
Yes. We build custom cabinetry and millwork to your plans and your schedule, produce shop drawings, and offer drafting support to other cabinet and millwork shops. Send a professional inquiry.
